Routine maintenance or full overhaul?
Fork lower-leg maintenance refreshes lubrication and the relevant service components. A full overhaul also addresses internal air-spring and damper work as applicable. For a rear shock, air-sleeve service and internal damper service have different scopes. Select the work your component needs rather than assuming every service quote covers the same tasks.
Diagnose symptoms before choosing upgrades
Tell our team about air loss, inconsistent damping, lockout problems or a change in ride feel. Include the component model, year and any previous modifications. Inspection and service can help establish whether maintenance, replacement parts or an available upgrade is appropriate.
Model-specific service schedules
RockShox requirements vary by product and generation. Refer to your current manufacturer service manual rather than treating one interval as universal. The SRAM service resource provides a starting point for manufacturer documentation.
Mail-in service and current pricing
Confirm component eligibility and review current MTB service pricing through booking. If the item is not listed, email service@dirtlabs.com before shipping. Follow the confirmation and return authorization instructions; shipping is additional to workshop turnaround.
What to compare in a service quote
Look at internal service scope, inspection, seals, fluids, testing, parts and shipping alongside the fee. Read our limited service warranty and case-by-case support through 180 days for aftercare. Manufacturer warranty requests have separate eligibility and procedures; contact us before sending a warranty item.
